In the past few years, research has shown that mountain tea plays an important role in the fight against various microbes, bacteria and fungi.
This herb can help to effectively deal with various pathogenic microorganisms while at the same time it encourages the growth of beneficial microorganisms such as Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium spp. In this way, it benefits the intestinal microflora and it ensures a good balance. Its antifungal activity seems to make it effective against Candida Albicans, as well as resilient bacteria. This gives us hope for discovering future therapies that will fight resilient bacteria more effectively than contemporary antibiotics.
All in all, mountain tea may set the basis for a future treatment that will be able to treat infections caused by resilient bacteria that modern medicine has difficulty treating effectively.
